From England to Ghent, and further via inland shipping

Transferium Sea Terminal handles 4,000 tons of wire rods from England

At the Transferium Sea Terminal in Ghent, a seagoing vessel from England was recently discharged with a cargo of no less than 4,000 tons of wire rods.

After careful unloading, the goods were temporarily stored on the quay before being reloaded onto four inland vessels bound for the end customer.

This operation highlights the versatility of Transferium. In addition to handling bulk cargo, our terminals are fully equipped and experienced in the transshipment and storage of general cargo. This enables us to provide our customers with flexible and efficient solutions for a wide range of logistical challenges.

With this project, we once again emphasize our role as a logistics link, efficiently connecting international seagoing transport with sustainable inland shipping.
